1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WrenchLab websites and any orders you place with us. By accessing our sites or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the sites or order from us.
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and WrenchLab LLC, a California limited liability company. Throughout this document, "WrenchLab," "we," "us," and "our" refer to WrenchLab LLC. "You" or "your" refers to anyone accessing the sites or placing an order.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to place an order. If you're ordering on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason.
3. Account information
If you create an account with us:
- You're responsible for keeping your password confidential
- You're responsible for any activity that happens under your account
- Account information must be accurate and current
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access at support@wrench-lab.com
4. Product information and pricing
We work hard to keep product descriptions, images, specifications, and prices accurate, but we do not guarantee that every detail is current or error-free. Errors happen — particularly across a catalog of tens of thousands of items sourced from multiple suppliers.
If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a clerical, technical, or supplier-data error, we reserve the right to cancel any order placed at that price, even after the order has been confirmed and your card has been charged. In that event, we will refund your payment in full and notify you. We are under no obligation to provide the product at the incorrect price.
Product images may differ slightly from the actual item due to manufacturer updates, lighting, screen rendering, or revisions. The product name and SKU control over the image.
5. Fitment, compatibility, and installation — IMPORTANT
It is your responsibility to verify that any product you order is correct for your specific application. This includes vehicle year/make/model/trim, engine, drivetrain, hull type, vessel size, electrical system, mounting requirements, and any other compatibility factor.
WrenchLab provides fitment information when supplied by manufacturers, but we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness. If you're unsure whether a product fits your application, contact us before ordering — once installed, items cannot be returned.
Installation should be performed by qualified professionals unless you have the expertise and tools to do it correctly. WrenchLab is not liable for damage to your vehicle, vessel, property, or person resulting from improper installation, incorrect product selection, or use beyond the manufacturer's intended purpose.
6. Orders and payment
Order acceptance. When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase. We accept your offer when we ship the product. Until then, we may decline or modify any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, supplier stock issues, pricing errors, or shipping restrictions.
Payment. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout. Your card is authorized when you place the order and charged when the order ships. By providing payment information, you represent that you are the authorized user.
Sales tax. California residents are charged applicable state and local sales tax. Tax rates are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.
Out-of-stock items. Inventory data is updated regularly, but a product can sell out between your order and our supplier's fulfillment. If an item is unavailable, we will notify you, refund the affected portion of your order, and ship the rest.
7. Shipping and delivery
Shipping rates, times, and carriers are described in our Shipping Policy. We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other circumstances outside our control. Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees.
Risk of loss and title pass to you when the carrier accepts the package from our supplier. Carrier claims for lost or damaged shipments must be initiated within the carrier's required window — see our Returns & Refunds Policy.
8. Returns and refunds
Our Returns & Refunds Policy (linked from every page) is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By placing an order, you accept the return rules, restocking fees, exclusions, and processes described in that policy.
9. Marketplace and third-party channels
Some of our products are listed on third-party marketplaces (eBay, Walmart, Amazon, Google Shopping, etc.). When you purchase through a marketplace, that marketplace's terms also apply, and disputes are typically governed by the marketplace's policies first. These Terms still govern your direct relationship with WrenchLab as the seller.
10. Intellectual property
All content on our sites — including text, images, logos, designs, code, product descriptions, and the WrenchLab name and marks — is owned by WrenchLab LLC, our suppliers, or our licensors, and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
Manufacturer brand names, logos, and trademarks shown on our sites belong to their respective owners and are used to describe the products being sold. Our use of these marks does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or any other relationship beyond an authorized reseller.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use our sites for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activity
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization
- Attempt to access our systems, accounts, or data without authorization
- Use scrapers, bots, crawlers, or automated tools to access our sites without our written permission
- Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of our sites
- Resell our products in violation of any applicable law or supplier authorization
- Submit false reviews, fraudulent orders, or chargeback abuse
- Harass other customers, our staff, or our suppliers
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these rules without notice.
12. User content
If you submit reviews, comments, photos, questions, or other content to our sites, you grant WrenchLab a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, distribute, and adapt that content in connection with our business. You represent that you own or have the right to submit anything you post and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
We reserve the right to remove any user content for any reason without notice.
13. Disclaimers
OUR SITES AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES THAT ACCOMPANY INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTS.
WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SITES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.
Marine and automotive products carry inherent risks. Improper installation or misuse can cause property damage, injury, or death. You assume all risks associated with the selection, installation, and use of products purchased through us.
14. Manufacturer warranties
Most products sold on our sites are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty terms vary by brand and product. We will help facilitate warranty claims when reasonably possible, but the manufacturer is the warrantor and final decision-maker on coverage. We are not responsible for the performance, fulfillment, or interpretation of any manufacturer warranty.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WRENCHLAB AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, VEHICLE OR VESSEL DOWNTIME, INSTALLATION COSTS, OR PERSONAL INJURY — ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITES OR PRODUCTS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages — in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WrenchLab LLC, its officers, members, employees, suppliers, and affiliates from any claim, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: your use of our sites; your breach of these Terms; your installation or use of any product; your violation of any applicable law or third-party right; or any false or misleading information you provide.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information from visitors and customers. By using our sites, you accept the practices described there.
18. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on our sites with the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use of the sites after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
19. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our sites or your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including IP rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — will survive.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
21. Dispute resolution
Informal resolution first. Before filing any formal action, you agree to contact us at legal@wrench-lab.com and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally.
Venue. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally must be filed in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.
Class action waiver. You agree to bring any claim only in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative action.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force and effect.
23. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Returns & Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement between you and WrenchLab regarding your use of our sites and any orders you place. They replace all prior or contemporaneous agreements on the same subject.
