Returns Policy
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return. After 30 days, returns are at our discretion and may be declined.
What Can Be Returned
Most new, unused items in original packaging. To qualify:
- Item is unused, uninstalled, and in resalable condition
- All original packaging, manuals, and accessories are included
- Product is free of installation marks, scratches, dirt, or damage
What Cannot Be Returned
- Electrical components that have been installed or wired
- Custom-ordered or made-to-order items
- Items missing original packaging or manufacturer labels
- Clearance or final-sale items (marked as such at checkout)
- Items damaged after delivery through customer fault
How To Start A Return
Email returns@wrench-lab.com with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you want to return
- Reason for return
- Photos of the item in its current condition (packaging + product)
We'll reply within 1 business day with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and return instructions.
Don't ship an item back without an RMA. Returns without an RMA may be refused or delayed.
Who Pays Return Shipping
We pay return shipping when:
- The item arrived damaged or defective
- We shipped the wrong item
- The item doesn't fit as listed on our site (see Fitment Guarantee)
You pay return shipping when:
- You changed your mind
- You ordered the wrong item (unless our fitment data was wrong)
- The item doesn't match your expectation but matches our listing
Restocking Fees
Most items return with no restocking fee. Exceptions:
- Freight / oversized items: 10-15% restocking fee to cover return LTL handling
- Custom-configured items: may not be returnable at all (noted at checkout)
We'll tell you about any applicable restocking fee before you send the item back.
Refund Timeline
- Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund is processed within 3 business days
- Refunds go to the original payment method
- Credit card refunds typically appear in 5-10 business days depending on your bank
Exchanges
Need a different size, model, or product? We handle exchanges as a return + new order. Start with the return process above — we'll credit your refund to the new purchase or refund you separately, your choice.
Warranty Claims
If a product fails within its manufacturer warranty period, we handle the warranty claim with the manufacturer on your behalf. Email returns@wrench-lab.com with photos of the defect and your order number.
